Top Navigation and Maps Apps in the Middle East Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw significant activity in the Navigation and Maps app category in the Middle East. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 apps in this category according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps Go saw consistent weekly downloads ranging from 83K to 102K, peaking at 102K in the week of November 29. Active users for the app fluctuated slightly but remained around 7.4M to 7.7M throughout the quarter.

Google Earth experienced a notable spike in downloads mid-October, reaching around 63K. The active user base saw a small dip in November but generally hovered between 550K and 631K.
